INTERNATIONAL MUSIC DOCUMENTARY FESTIVAL
Musical Écran Festival is a unique event focusing on music documentaries and taking place each year in Bordeaux, France. With a programme made of premieres and exclusive screenings, an international competition and dj-set parties in a beautiful open air venue, Musical Écran is a showcase for music documentaries from all over the world. The main venue of the festival is the beautiful Cinéma Utopia, a former church based in the city center of Bordeaux with 5 screening rooms. The festival offers several awards to music documentaries part of the competitive section : an audience prize and a Grand Jury prize consisting in two grants.
Since 2020, a small tour of the festival is organized following the Bordeaux edition with a selection of films screened in cities such as Toulouse or La Rochelle.
